The Cyberware M15 is a portable high resolution scanner. The accuracy of the M15's camera is twice a good as that of our MS's 3030 camera; that is, ±100µm compared to ±200µm. Data density is roughly a point every 350µm (a third of a mm).

The M15 has a roughly 15cm cube viewing volume, so the ideal sized object for scanning on the M15 would be no more than 15cm tall. Quite often though, we'll scan much larger objects on our MS platform, then use the M15 to scan smaller feature sections in greater detail. The two different density data sets are then aligned and merged seamlessly with our CyDir software.
