The EMS Synthi AKS is an analog synthesizer in a briefcase, released in the early 70's, and was used extensively by Brian Eno, Jean Michel Jarre and by Pink Floyd on their 1973 album The Dark Side of the Moon.

headus was given the task of 3D scanning one of these legendary instruments by a local musician so they could have the 3D data on hand for a number of possible projects. For example, the plastic outer case is cracked, so an accurate replacement could now be made.
