CyDir, developed in 1995, provided for the first time a fast and
accurate align and merge of the very large data sets generated from
the family of Cyberware scanners. Since 1996, CyDir has been bundled
with the Cyberware MS, MM, M15 and WB platforms.
CyDir is the gathering together of a hand-full of programs - Guee is
used to drive the scanner, CyEdit for scan editing and cleanup, and
CyPaste, CyPie and CyEat for scan alignment and merging. CyDir
coordinates these various parts into a single system for the 3D
scanning of complex objects.
